Hello Loves! How are you this fine Tuesday morning??
I've decided to have a bit of a clean out. I like making jewellery, but it doesn't work with my "collection" so rather than have bags of it sitting around eyeballing me, reminding me that all that time and effort is not being appreciated, I've decided to throw it all up on FB and clear it out!
It's all made from really beautiful glass and crystal beads, with all sorts of lovely findings and charms. The quality is awesome, the materials are really nice - I'd just rather have it rehomed that sitting on my shelves, reminding me of how unloved it is!
So do go and check it out (and become a fan while you are there). It's all one off pieces so if you like something, nab it! I can't and won't remake pieces so once it's gone, it's gone for good.
If you wanted to be super clever, you could fix up most of your Christmas list for about $50 and have some beautiful jewellery to present to your special people. Even just grabbing a couple of bits for upcoming birthdays or special occasions would be a great idea! Share the link around to whomever you think might be interested. More will be added over the coming week :)

Shaking off the Semester
I'm here, my Dears!
I've erupted from the epic pile of business textbooks and creative industries notes and made it to the end of semester. I'm not sure why I thought returning to full time study was a good idea? I've learned heaps this semester but I've had about 14 minutes of free time during the last month which is not great.
I did manage to get along to a few of the Saviours of the Lost Arts workshops at the lovely Bleeding Heart Gallery. I learned to decorate cupcakes and got loaded with awesome business info from a variety of awesome women. I've got my plan worked out for the next six months and dropping down to part time study will hopefully mean that things can really start happening! I'm so in love with this business and want to invest all of my time in it, so it's really exciting to be able to do that!
In the meantime, you should come a Rummage with me on Sunday. From 12pm at King George Square in Brisbane, I'll have a range of my usual delights plus some amazing button necklaces I've been working on. They are super fun to make and I've even nabbed one for myself, so you know they're good! Come check them out!!

More Rummaging!
I am very pleased to be announcing that I will be reclaiming my little spot of King George Square on the 9th May for the next Suitcase Rummage. What was meant to be a once off event, the Rummage was such a success that it's being given another go.
I've been working hard, restocking some old favourites and making some new pieces to show off! I've invested in some chairs this time around so hopefully some proper seating and slightly cooler weather will make it even better than last time.
In other super exciting crafty news, Brisbane is getting an in.cube8r! It works as a bit of a gallery/retail store where artists and crafters can rent a piece of the space to show off their work and maintain a retail presence outside of weekend markets. I think it's a really awesome idea and hope to have my work in there this year. You should absolutely go for a poke around once it's open to see the brilliance of Australian indie creation.
Catch you next weekend, Dears!

Howdy!
Hello Dears! Thanks for stopping by today!
Changes are afoot around the traps here. After a couple of years pursuing an online store elsewhere, I've decided to pack up and move to Etsy. While that shop is being set up, you'll have to get your fix of the handmade delights on this blog.
My first sale for the year is coming up on Sunday in the form of the Suitcase Rummage! It sounds like it's going to be a pretty cool event, there should be all kinds of wonderful things for sale and I've even heard they are trucking in a few square meters of grass to host the event on, which will make things very cute (and comfy! Yay for not having to sit on hard pavement!).
I am looking forward to showing off a few new products and my new business cards that arrived just this second.
See you there!
